For patients
Blood drawn here, results explained here.
Most routine testing happens during your visit, so there is no separate trip to a lab, and Dr. Shtern goes through the results with you.

What is done in the office
- Blood draws for routine and follow-up lab work
- ECGs (electrocardiograms) during your visit
- Stool occult blood testing
- Rapid tests for flu A and B, COVID-19 and strep
Imaging and specialized tests are arranged with trusted local providers when you need them.
Results you go through together
The annual executive physical includes lab work and an ECG, then time to go through the results together. Numbers like eGFR, A1c and cholesterol are easier to act on when the doctor who ordered them explains what changed and why. Reading your kidney labs.
Insurance
Labs and covered tests are billed to your insurance as they are today. More on insurance and fees.
