Dr. Yana Shtern is a double board-certified Internist, Nephrologist and Hypertension specialist and she has been practicing medicine for nearly 20 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from Stony Brook University. She then earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Shtern completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship training at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Shtern holds American Board of Internal Medicine certifications in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Prior to her work as a concierge physician in Florida, Dr. Shtern ran a successful medical practice in New York City, as well as having served as a Medical Director of an outpatient hemodialysis
center. Dr. Shtern also has extensive training and experience as an Interventional Nephrologist having performed a variety of percutaneous endovascular surgical procedures for hemodialysis and cancer patients in numerous outpatient office-based surgical centers across New York City for many years.
