Unfortunately, the hospitalization process can sometimes add stress to an already trying time for you and your loved ones. From admission to discharge, so much coordination is needed between your specialists and the hospital staff that the burden of coordinating often falls on your loved ones, who would rather be by your side throughout your stay.

Dr. Shtern is affiliated with Jupiter Medical Center and Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, but she does not admit patients to the hospital herself. While you are in the hospital, the hospital’s own physicians direct your care.
