Dr. Yana Shtern is a double board-certified Internist, Nephrologist and Hypertension specialist. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from Stony Brook University. She then earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Shtern completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship training at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Shtern holds American Board of Internal Medicine certifications in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Prior to her work as a concierge physician in Florida, Dr. Shtern ran a successful medical practice in New York City, as well as having served as a Medical Director of an outpatient hemodialysis center. Dr. Shtern also has extensive training and experience as an Interventional Nephrologist having performed a variety of percutaneous endovascular surgical procedures for hemodialysis and cancer patients in numerous outpatient office-based surgical centers across New York City for many years

Dr. Shtern has admitting and consulting privileges at Jupiter Medical Center as well as Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. She is also a member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee at Jupiter Medical Center.

Dr. Shtern places an emphasis on providing compassionate & comprehensive adult preventative medical care for adult patients using a detail-oriented and personally tailored approach for every individual. The concierge model of medicine allows her to provide highly individualized and personalized medical care. Dr. Shtern believes that reaching optimal health requires an ongoing, strong patient-physician relationship built on trust and integrity. Her goal is to provide complete & comprehensive healthcare of the highest standard while forming a life-long bond for health with each and every one of her patients.

Dr. Shtern and her husband of over 15 years are the proud parents of two teenagers. She enjoys hot yoga, fishing, outdoor activities, cooking, and most of all, spending time with her family.
